@gidgetgh  Thank you for sharing these lovely photos!  They have great love and chemistry on and off the ice Smiley Very HappyHeart.  I love her wedding dress- very romantic and flowy.

Re: Madison Chock/Evan Bates- wedding

While it's a beautiful dress all I can think about is a Vera Wang dress in the dirt!   I always think those pics of wedding dresses in the dirt, sand, whatever are ridiculous.  Who would do that to their wedding dress after spending all that money on it!

@gidgetgh   Thanks for sharing.  Great skaters.  And as for "ruining" the dress on sand and rocks, it's only worn once anyway, no big deal!!!!

Beautiful couple and gown!  Beautiful photo too but my first thought was that the bottom of her dress is filled with dark sand!

Yes, the bride's gown is lovely and the surroundings very scenic.  I love ice dancing and always enjoy that part of the Olympics.  I still watch Torvill and Dean skate to Bolero when they won the gold.  I wish  much happiness to Madison and Evan and success in their quest for the gold.

@spiderw Torvill & Dean are my all time favorite ice dancers and I saw them when they came around sometime back in the 1990s.

I don't know them.  Nonetheless, this is a beautiful gown, a beautiful lady and a not-so-bad-looking husband.  I would say 'yes' to him.  I think it is a lovely picture.  However, like many others, I cannot imagine dragging that beautiful gown through this rough shore to take a picture.  It makes me cringe.

I agree, Torvill and Dean were the pioneers so to speak of many of the moves the ice dancers do today.  They were true artists on the ice!!!!!

The gown is lovely, but would look much better without the long train draggimg through the dirt. Wedding gowns don't need trains to make them stylish.
