Re: Mad for plaid? Skirts, that is!

Always save 'the classics', as long as they still fit. Classic fashions always have a habit of eventually returning! Make sure they are stored properly, away from dampness, etc.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I love plaid skirts!! Just scored a fully lined, exposed zipper, excellent condition, plaid skirt at our local Goodwill Store last week for $3.33!!!! Finds like that (clothes wise anyway) usually never happen to me, so I am absolutely over the moon! And yeah, I also love plaid shirts!!!

When I think of plaid skirts, I think of the pleated, short variety. They are so cute and sexy. This one is by Charlotte Russe.

My 5 year GD's skirts are longer.

I don't really care for plaid skirts, but I love plaid shirts.

When I was a teen-ager back in Seattle..I wore a kilt with a decorative

safety pin on the side where the fringe was that we bought

in Vancouver, BC that I used to wear to hgh school.

I loved wearing that thing.

I also used to have a wool kilt pleated skirt in navy and green plaid, it was a hand me down from someone and I wore it from grade 7 through grade 12 as all I had to do was move the button over and move over the kilt pin as I grew in my teen years. It started as a below the knee kilt and ended up a mini by the time grade 12 rolled around!

But now I only wear plaids now in scarves. I like the Burberry inspired scarves in all colors.
