Mad for plaid? Skirts, that is!

Here is the Andover skirt from L.L. Bean. There are many styles/color combinations, and they are at different price points, depending on the sizing/quantities. I own this skirt and it's a quality one, so I thought I would pass it along. It is available in regular and petites.

Lola, when I was in HS back in the mid 60's I had a plaid kiltie skirt with a large gold pin in colors like the first skirt pictured. I loved it & would love to get another plaid skirt. I didn't know they were in fashion again. Thanks for the memories!

I had a plaid skirt that my husband gave me for Christmas back in the late 70's. I loved it but gave it away in the late 80's because it was "out of style". Of course, it's now back in style and oh how I wish I had hung on to it.

It's unfortunate that Brittney Spears sort of put a halo-effect upon plaid skirts…that and all girl private schools and other schools, as well. Hard to shake that school girl look, unless it is below the knee, imo. But maybe some want that look, which is entirely okay.

When I was a teen-ager back in Seattle..I wore a kilt with a decorative

safety pin on the side where the fringe was that we bought

in Vancouver, BC that I used to wear to hgh school.

I loved wearing that thing.

I don't really care for plaid skirts, but I love plaid shirts.

Pendleton has the pleated, reversible wool skirts, in two different lengths. I can't wear unlined wool. I prefer the lined pencil skirts.

They also have one plaid pencil skirt.

This one, not plaid, is reversible.

Land's End has some good looking plaid/chambray mixes.
