Marshall Field bought out our Hudson's, which was then bought out by Macy's. Then I moved to a different city. When I do go back home, there is no incentive to shop at Macy's. The ads I get on TV promote prices lower than TJ Maxx or any big box store around here. Sounds like they are buying junk. Why would I want to go to an even lower level of quality in their off price store? Sounds like they need new management.

I'm wondering if I should be shopping in Dillard's and Nordstroms more. They have stores nearby.

I like both Dillards and Nordstorms but I recently discovered that the same item on Nordstrom's website is cheaper than in the store! They also have many things on their website that they don't carry in the store.
