Re: MY, MY.........SG looks like a LOGO show this morning.

Love her new 'Premier' knit items! That asymmetrical top is so versatile...........(wearing a turtleneck or mock top underneath, etc. (As in my previous post)

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Yeah, SG is leaning towards LOGO, but what about Women In Control - think that brand copied Lori's first.

Lori Goldstein was not the first one to design the shark tooth line or the uneven hem, that has been around since the twenties and has recently been resurrected and modernized by Lori Goldstein and other designers.

I agree, Matty6. And, coe to think of it, didn't D&C have something similar to Lori's also?

Yes, D&C has a few sharkbite hems. Compared side by side with a LOGO sharkbite shows Lori has an eye for how clothing should drape and flow. D&C just took their regular hefty cotton/span t-shirt body and cut the hem in a crescent, so the points are on the side seams which stiffens the points so they don't lay flat or drape like a rayon/span jersey. Lori has diagonal seaming running from near the waist to the hem which eliminates the side seam at the hemline and allows the fabric to drape softly at the point. Every seam in a LOGO top is there for a purpose.

she has been copying every vendor/designer for a long long time....she is like Lori Grenier .(I can't remember the spelling...) she is another one who copies other peoples products...

SG...then raves how its her ideas....her designs....shame on her....

Re: MY, MY.........SG looks like a LOGO show this morning.

You can find the hi-lo hem and the asymmetrical hem in just about any designer line on any channel and in any store. Just do a search here, then go to HSN and search, then to ShopHQ. There isn't a single designer who hasn't taken inspiration from other designers and who doesn't talk about going to Europe to see the latest trends in design and fabrics.

Why single out SG to bash?

Speaking of LOGO knock-offs..Found a gem at JCP's...web ID 7629000

Love the ""new"" blush color and the style is VERY similar to the LOGO style... el cheapo (comparatively.)

I think this could be cute. I would have ordered it but the front pieces hanging down are over-exaggerated -- almost to the knees.

I don't care for Courtney as a host and thought she looked a mess on there today, but I don't think she ever really dresses well on air.
