Am I right in remembering you posted a beautiful dress you wore for your daughter's wedding?

@magicmoodz I did not.  You must have me mixed up with another poster.  My gown was beautiful but I never posted a photo of it.

I went to King of Prussia mall and tried on dresses at a store (NM, Nordies, Bloomindales???) whichever one had a man playing a grand piano right by the dressing salon.  Maybe a local can answer?

They had the best selection for dresses for Mothers of the Lucky Ones....Woman Happy

(I went back there for my other two children's weddings.)

All were by Tadashi.  I still have them and hope to wear them to my grandchildren's weddings.

Re: MOTHER OF THE GROOM DRESSES?

Adrianna Papell makes gorgeous dresses for formal to semi formal occasions.  My son got married last April and the bride's mother and I both had on her designs.  We are both petite and the dresses needed minimal alterations.  I would check Pishmark, Mercari and thred up

@magicmoodz Haha!  I did try to get a pewter color but I ended up with a tone on tone black dress.  The fabric was interesting with a floral design somehow etched (I'm sure I'm describing this incorrectly) into it.

I also ended up with an off the shoulder look which was very popular then.  I'm not sure if that look is still popular now but I'm not in the market for another gown and we haven't been to a wedding for the last couple of years.

As for getting things mixed up....I have not gotten this problem but I have noticed that once in a while ...or more often than before.... I forget a simple word  or the name of something here & there....kind of scary!

@Sweet Kitties

Oh my, that is such dishonest and horrible behavior. No, I guess I am not surprised, cause I know a woman who orders jewelry, wears it to a function and then returns it.

@Greeneyedlady21 This is QVC model, Stacy Dickerson.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.
