It's a lovely color ... but one that I can't wear .... 

My sister and I were in Lord & Taylor (remember them?) quite a few years ago  shopping for dresses to wear to a wedding ...  and we both tried on a really nice dress in that color.  (Not twins, but we frequently dressed alike to "amuse" other family members.)

Sis has our father's medium complexion / I have our mother's very light /fair coloring but we definitely look like sisters!

Color looked fab on sis, terrible on me.

I took it out when I first read your thread.  I think I looked pretty good in that color.  I've worn it twice and one person complimented me on the color at work. I was initially attracted to it because of the color.

I think it is a pretty color indeed.  What I don't like about it is the neckline. 

It is called a crew neck but not really.  iI stretches out of the neck to much for me. My preference is a real crew close to the neck with trim.

Other than that very pretty color.  I also like the picture with the bermuda shorts but just a little too baggy for a thin yet older woman.

Best on the 20 year old younger women  in my opinion.
