Sorry, but I don't see anything odd about it. This is what happens at Fashion Week. The artists go all out to push the envelope. No one buys these outfits to walk the streets. This is "Art."

@gertrudecloset you really don't find anything odd (or disturbing) about the satan trend?
Editing to say, this is not just a fashion week thing either.

I also saw in the same online people's article that Lourdes now also has a makeup campaign for Make Up Forever. My main focus of this thread was about what seems like the mainstreaming of satanic and devilish images in culture and fashion- and also thought some might be interested in Lourdes (and ny fashion week, in general.) So not to take away from that, but extra info on Lourdes is that not only has she just walked the Ny Fashion week runway but also has a Makeup Forever Advertising Campaign. Just my comment - not that she's not an ok person or whatever - but this seems very much like a legacy career to me.
-----------------------------------------------
Lourdes Leon is officially a beauty gal.
Madonna's daughter just landed her first makeup campaign as one of the new faces of Make Up For Ever's latest launch for HD Skin Powder Foundation.
The budding singer and model, who also goes by Lola and Lolahol, wears a neutral-toned brown catsuit in her campaign images and video — which are all about the neutral tones of the foundation. Her long brown hair is sleek and straight, so as to not detract from the makeup on her face.

Why would I know or even care about what celebrity "satan" trends? I haven't seen any trend in this regard. If you have noticed it, plz do share with us some of the rest of it.
I don't have to wear it. What this young lady is doing is no different than the "Goth Look" which is still prevalent among some young folk and old folks too.
They call out for Fashion Week. Wild and crazy and the designers really showcase their artistic side during this time. These garments shouldn't be taken so seriously.

@gertrudecloset ITA. Lourdes is a beautiful young woman. Walking the runway during Fashion Week should make any mother proud. I don't think the models choose what they get to wear. And they are supposed to have the pouty look.
I wish her continued success in her career. Many parents help their children to get a start in their career, but what the child does with that opportunity is up to them.

@gertrudecloset Well three come to mind at this moment - this: Lourdes and Julia - at NY fashion week, which btw is not a Goth look. Not saying that someone who likes goth wouldn't like this, but they are not the same thing. Sam Smith at the Grammy's - in his little devil costume with other characters there. Lil Nas X (of hometown road fame and more) last year or the year before had his music video giving Satan a lap dance. He started it by sliding down a pole to hell to give the devil a seductive lap dance,, I believe he was wearing tall boots and short shorts - good custom for a pole dancer. Nice viewing for the kids. He launched a limited edition sneaker - 666 of them - complete with a pentagram and a drop of blood- and they sold out in seconds. These are not the only three - these just are what come to mind for me. I love expression and creativity. I think this crosses a line I don't want to see crossed. I think this is not healthy for the world. You may find this fine, I just don't.

@Linmo Of course the models didn't choose what they wore. I was most shocked at what these designers were having the models wear to walk the runway. Julia's was especially shocking. Lourdes get up was devilish, with symbols on the dress, her hat, her body, which I think is not a good thing - but also it was not flattering on her, in my opinion. I can comment on that, yes? The designer might have picked a better garment for her. My comment on the cosmetic campaign stands too - I think she is fine looking, but other than being Madonna's daughter I can't imagine why she would be picked for the makeup line's campaign. Or even to walk the runway. I don't see her as a standout in that way.

@moonandthestars I understand where you're coming from. You're not a fan of the devilish trend. The prior trend to devilish was skulls. It may still be current for all I know. I have children around the same age as Lourdes and would never gift them anything with skulls.
But as I posted, I think Lourdes is beautiful and easily see her being a successful model. She is not tall and thin, but I think we need to revisit what we consider beautiful, IMO.

When the famous folk and the models attend these special events yearly (all bets are off). It should be viewed as just a show. Nothing more than a showcase.
I love it! Simply another form of visual art (though wearable).
