I have a few of Lori's tops. I rarely wear them because I don't think I look good in them. The sleeves and bust are snug and on an XL that is not a flattering look. Having said that, some of the thin models don't look good in some of the things either. I have a feeling the reason Lori's clothes sell so well is because LR pushes them and everyone seems to buy what LR likes whether it looks good or not. But then everything looks good on Lisa and we don't all look like Lisa! I agree the TSV is hideous, unflattering, sloppy, and rag-like. Too expensive to look like an old piece of clothing you pulled out of the giveaway bag.

Just because something is called ""art"" doesn't mean it's not ugly. Paintings on black velvet were once called ""art"" also.

Her most famous styling assignment was the cover of Vanity Fair featuring a pregnant Demi Moore.

Yes, she styled a shoot with no CLOTHES!

I have a few of her tops....but don't consider them to be high style or art!!!

I don't understand the last sentence of Lisa's statement. I totally understand what she is getting at with the rest. I do have to shake my head that so many people continually complain, practically daily, about the LOGO line and Lori and looking like a bag lady, etc. I guess not many have the ability to see past the way Lori is dressed, see the pieces individually and pick and choose what they might like.

They only see the items as styled by Lori and think that's the way they have to be worn.

I actually think Lisa is correct. I like some of LG's pieces and have a few and some in different colors in the same style. I just wear mine differently and not in layers.

I am with you Lipstick Diva. The constant bashing of LG is kind of silly. I for one wouldn't be caught dead in Denim & Co. but I understand it is for a certain woman, just as LG is .

I caught a little bit of her presentation with Rachel (I think that's her name). Some of the color combinations she was raving about were absolutely outrageous!!!! I can't imagine anyone wearing some of the color combos that she gets so enthusiastic about. If that's "artistic expression", I think I'll pass.

ITA. It takes vision to do that, and some women may not have that.

Not everything Lori does is for me but I like the pieces I have. I don't wear my pieces as Lori does, but it works for her.

Q chooses to have Lori because she makes money for them. That's the bottom line as always. However, I don't believe any of US are feeble minded merely because we may or may not like her designs. And, geeeeez, some of you think LR is gospel. Bless your hearts.
