Re: Lord And Taylor Store Brand Cashmere Sweaters

I buy one for my MIL every few years; she LOVES them, they are SO soft and they carry the "basic" colors plus whatever shades are "in" for that season. She loves the classic Turtleneck or sweater set and they sell both. The first ones I purchased are going on 10 years plus...still look and feel wonderful.

I never tried the women's cashmere but the men's Black Brown 1826 brand is outstanding quality.

@SahmIam I wanted a fun color but all I could find in a medium was navy and black. So I went with the navy. Extremely limited quantities at this time of year, obviously.

Where I live I could have worn one Sunday and yesterday.

Just tried it on, I got my usual medium and it's more form fitting than I would like.

It is available in navy in large, but I don't know if I'll get one. It seems like it might pill quite a bit. I know that's the nature of cashmere and you have to care for it.

It is two ply.

I have several L & T cashmere sweaters from several years. They are usually 2 ply and of medium quality. I've had better - I've had worse. Treat yourself for the price..

I bought one from Stein Mart. Low fiber of Cashmere blend and more Cashmere cotton?
