Looks like item #A51240 is not returning

A51240 -  looks like they are selling it out, hardly any colors and sizes left.

This has been one of my favorite tops over the years.  I have several colors and have even given as a gift.

I'll never understand why they discontinue super popular items in all catagories and brands.

@avid shopper Perhaps it will reappear as a new item number next year. Adjustments to accommodate the higher price of fabrics and production could be the culprit. I would expect a price increase is coming if it does return.

@On It

Originally the price was $29. and over the years it went up to $42.

When QVC first began they NEVER raised the price on an item!

Even if it was reordered the price stayed at the original price.

Then the pricing games began.

So disappointing!

Re: Looks like item #A51240 is not returning

@avid shopper - I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers that QVC would never raise the price on an item, once it was listed in their inventory.

I remember that they used to make a point of saying that in their presentations "We never raise the price of an item..."  I told someone that once and got the "You must be misremembering.  They couldn't do that."

Well, no, I wasn't misremembering.  And it seemed that, in order to raise the prices, they'd list something under a new number.  "New stock".

I'm sure it was unrealistic to ever make that promise, given that the cost of everything goes up, but they did.
