Re: Looks from Inspired Style...

Deanna, the first model would look great in the outfit below. IMO, the top and skirt are a little long for her.

I don't like any of the looks but that's me. I am sure some people like the styling. This is not SAKS, NM or Nordstrom....its home shopping

Re: Looks from Inspired Style...

The first look is too heavy. Long hair, long shirt, long skirt....the eye is drawn down. Also the sleeve length is @ the same visual point as the obi...too much...makes her waist look thicker.

I would style the skirt/high heels with a crop shirt w/ a collar or a waist-length bolero w/ a tight tank underneath....and her hair up in a messy bun....and big hoop earrings. Up, up, up!

then QVC should either give the stylists and designers something better to work with than what we so often see or get new ones. Based on what I've observed about the way outfits are "styled" on the fashion shows, it makes me think that they were done in the dark and with their eyes closed. Too often the models and hosts are squeezed into the wrong size and that doesn't make anyone look good.

Also QVC has the worst product photos that I see anywhere online.

Re: Looks from Inspired Style...

But, they don't design for couture but for the average viewers who wear the clothing daily. They can only work with the clothing they have and what they are told to promote. I buy from QVC for casual wear but certain items, I purchase from Nordstom or SAKS. I don't expect the same level of product or design from QVC. Many people may like the styles shown above, I do not.
