Re: Looks Like Dennis Basso Has Teamed Up With Quacker Factory!

The black isn't bad, but I'd need to see the applique.

The blue is awful.

For this new item (I'm not saying he has, just that it looks like it from this item!)  It might have to do with the QVC buyers' advice.

Buyers advice?! I would say that's putting it gently from what I hear from some of the vendors. The buyers seem to be an essential part of the design team really! I would love to see a designer come in with carte blanche on what they can design.

Lisa Rinna recently shared  that it was seven years before she was permitted  to bring in a leopard print?!

No way - Quacker Factory's embroidery is much higher quality than that!

I like the checked jacket, but not for that price.  (Plus, I don't like the embellishment.)

Doesn't look like something he would design.

Re: Looks Like Dennis Basso Has Teamed Up With Quacker Factory!

sooo

now I am thinking that as a line is more established and a money maker, the designer whoever it may be is more removed from the design process.  and QVC has much more input into what is made

agree?
