Do people really wear these vests that were just on? I've never seen anyone wearing anything like that locally. Just curious. It's item no. a279731 by C. Wonder.

I have seen tons of vests in Saks, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom's.  Love the look, especially the sleeveless jacket look.  I am eyeling this one

NJGirl, that one is pretty, but the one on the q is much longer.

I see a lot of vests.

The C Wonder one was not flattering, IMO.  It swallowed Sharon up.  The material isn't soft and flowing - it looked very stiff.

@NJgirl 1205  This grey is nice - looks like one offered on hsn by Liz Lange except the lapels folded out like on a typical jacket.

@Renata Ah, now I see what you meant....  I don't think I like the C Wonder version, nor would I know where or how to wear it.

I like the "suited" look with a blouse or turtleneck underneath for work with a pencil skirt or maybe narrow pants.  I think it would also look cute with jeans.  Still debating  if I want to invest in something more substantial and pricier that I saw in Saks or if the Nordies version will do.

@PinkDogwood  Thank you for the suggestion!  I will definitely check it out.  It may fit the bill if I decide to go the less expensive route.

@Renata

I have a few actually but this C Wonder one looks nothing like a typical duster 'vest'.

I don't know what you would call it. Here's a sampling of what I have.

722-969- Indigo Thread Co.™ Woven Knit Combo Sleeveless Open Front Lace Detail Duster

722-970- Indigo Thread Co.™ Woven Printed Sleeveless Open Front Duster

Slinky® Brand Ponte Duster Vest with with Pockets

Long vests have been out over five years.  I have a pretty grey one with black lapels from Stein Mart.
