I can see where in some climates you could get a lot of wear with these  sweaters, but for me it is either too warm or too cold. There is a small window where I can use them comfortably. I must be in the minority, because they sure sell a lot of them.

Some of bought and now have regrets.  Too heavy - bulky - stretch b/c of weight.  I'm still crying for having bought 3..........Grr

(too late to return - goodwill gets 2 - doubt if I'll ever wear the 3rd)

My highs priced Barefoot Dreams TSV from several years ago has never been out of the house.  My home is drafty and I just wear it inside when I get chilly.  I don't think its very attractive but it is warm.

They've been around for years. 

I prefer the long cardigans.  Not counting the ones I've knitted/crocheted myself ...

First one I ever bought was a black Calvin Klein - in the mid/late1990s. 

My next oldest (black and white w/fringe) was from Chico's in the early 2000s. I went all the way uptown to Chico's and they were sold out - came home and ordered online.

I have a long Bob Mackie (below - fondly referred to as my Ronald McDonald sweater) and a whole bunch of others purchased and hand made over the years.

I barely ever wear a jacket (hoodie) for more than an hour. I have no need for for a long bulky sweater.

I’m wearing a BFD cardigan in the office today with a black skirt and boots. I wear long cardis often. It gets chilly in here.

@ALRATIBA , Don't get me wrong, they are attractive, which is why I have two that I hardly ever wear .For me they just aren't practical .

I have always loved long cardigans and worn at work a lot of times.  So remember the Ronald sweater (I missed getting it).  I like a topper over my clothes and long cardigans serve that purpose.  Like @Kachina624 I wear that first BFD long cardi at home because it looks like a robe to me and I don't like wearing it out.  We keep our house cool and I like to layer for comfort.

I only own one long cardigan. I don't wear it very often so I don't need another. I prefer traditional length button front cardigans.

I am kinda short but I think I look OK in long cardigans anyway and I have a good number of them.  The season for the heavier ones is short but I can wear a coat over the thinner ones in the winter.

Tomorrow I plan to wear my Isaac Cappucino Plaid one with either cappucino pants and a creme sweaer or winter white pants with a cappucinno top.  I have been looking forward to wearing it.

I like the Barefoot Dreams one Amy is presenting now but I have so many I'll pass this one up
