It's so sad when an animal goes. I have none, but my sister had four cats - all gone now, but we were very attached to them. One was particularly smart. He practically talked. I still miss him!

I am so very sorry that you have lost your beloved kitty. I don't participate in your AMS Chat but enjoy being the silent visitor. It wrenched my heart this morning when you indicated that the Rooster Cat was sitting next to her litter box with her head down. I thought, poor sick kitty. I love animals and am especially fond of all you good people who give homes and lots of care and love to them.

I, too, was devastated and moved to tears when I learned of your kitty's passing. We know her suffering is over. I pray that your suffering becomes more bearable with each new day. I don' t have a pet (yet) because its passing is something that's inevitable and something I don't want to face.
