Liz Claiborne outdated fashions

I find the styles frumpy and old fashioned.  They have gotten worse through the years. I am not sure what age group they are targeting... but I am 60 and would not wear 99% of what I see.

I am in your age range.  I would far rather wear LC than look like I'm trying to dress like a 20 year old.  Different perspective I guess.  Although I wouldn't call the clothes fashion forward, I think you are off base in your assesment.

@SeaMaiden  Then don't purchase them.   There are lots of things on QVC I dislike and therefore don't buy. To the ladies on the board who do like the LC line, enjoy your clothing.

Which line at QVC has fashions you like?  Or outside QVC, where do you find things you like?

I think LC clothes fit a need for the more conservatively dressed women.  These are women who don't want hemlines down to their knees, uneven hemlines, clothes in fabrics that cling, loud prints, or embellishment.

There must be a fair number of these women based on the number of things that sell well.

As an aside I think Carol and Nancy work well together.

I feel like LC does basics for women that want to be comfortable & look nice, but don't follow fashion trends necessarily. Their clothing hasn't really changed in all of the years that I have seen them. They do their thing & do it well. There are plenty of more fashion forward options, but some of us just need to get dressed & get out the door. We got things to do! LOL

I have a couple summer dresses and tops from this line which I really like. I tend to like a classic style which I think this line fills.

I'm a fan of LC.  They do jackets/blazers extremely well.  I am not a fan of tops that look like fish tails or uneven hemlines on tops so I am conservative/classic in my buying habits.  Classic clothing doesn't go out of style.

Re: Liz Claiborne outdated fashions

I think LC is simply a brand we would call "classic."  I personally tend to like more fashion forward clothes, however, I fully respect the women who prefer a more conservative look.  I guess we all have to dress according to our individual bodies and personalities!
