Re: List fashion features that would keep you from purchasing it.

Cold shoulder, literally top of the list

Sharkbite hems

Really exaggerated hi-lo hem

Crop pants

Really wide leg pants

Jeans with holes

Shoes with no support

That about does it, I thought my list would be much longer.

Jeans with stretch, peplums, high/low tops, crop tops/jackets, layered look (LOGO type stuff), polyester, pull on pants, big prints,  high heels (I'm 6ft tall), hats or hoods, Mary Jane and gladiator style shoes,  certain colors like olive.

The item that surprises me most is the No White Underwear.  I thought that was my personal quirk , so I didn't even list it.  Its just too hard to get up a load of white only, and putting white panties and bras in with anything else is a good way to get dingy looking underwear.

Hmmm.... I was surprised by the No White Undies too.   For totally different reasons.  I will only wear white underwear - I don't do colors unless it's a "nude" bra.   And, @depglass, I wash a load of "whites" once a week in hot water and bleach.

Agree with all of your picks-would add Capris and Crops that flare out at the leg opening.

If you are wearing a white top or pants that are not all that thick so that when you wear under them they WILL show as ever whiter and will show through. If you wear ''nudes'' they will just melt away in the background and you won't see them. But really, i never liked white undergarments in the first place.  I dunno , I just never did.

I have made so many fashion mistakes!  It looks pretty on air...online on model...but on me in a photo....yuk!  Not flattering.

I am trying to change and stick with styles that work for me.

Here's my list:

Big flower prints

Big any kind of prints

Boxy cut tops

Elbow sleeves

Crew necklines

Stripes

Big wing arm tops (not sure proper name look like wings!)

Re: List fashion features that would keep you from purchasing it.

I saw other "features" on SG's show this morning that I wouldn't purchase.

It was A375655 liquid knit faux wrap dress.

Flimsy fabric, high slde slits - could be a problem if you are walking outdoors on a windy day - fabric wrapping around your lower legs as you walked.

The slits were rather oddly placed, and could be more of a problem on stairs.  She mentioned something about that - but I didn't believe it.

BUT my main issue was the way the hem was sewn. On the white side of the dress, the hem was sewn with the dark colored thread.  Very noticeable. Maybe I'm too fussy - but I'd never buy anything sewn that way.  What's the big deal about switching to white thread for that side of the dress?
