The world is her oyster.

She is the perfect example of what that statement means.

She has a job that appears effortless, but it's not.

For every trip to Italy, there's the bathroom you have to use on that trans-Atlantic plane.

The amount of money she makes at QVC is phenomenal (and she deserves every dime of it). I'm sure she has financial advisors that tell her what she'll need (or has already accrued) to live comfortably.

She's made many contacts and I think will have no problem being employed. Even without the contacts, she's a driven woman.

I very rarely watch QVC any more, but enjoy watching her when I happen to tune in. I will miss her.

I wish her the very best.

I agree.

She is almost 50... Beyond the age where the world is her oyster. Cheesy infomercials...perhaps a vendor for a beauty product. She will make a nice living ( she better to support her tastes!) but, I do not think she has so much going for her that she will be famous. She is attractive. Many women are.

All I hope is that they don't give her a going-away show like they did Kathy Levine: it was horrible. They were bringing up products to sell while saying goodbye. Just let Lisa go and have a life ...

Her last show appears to be her annual Posh Presents show, which is always staged as a party with lots of vendors present, so my guess is you aren't going to get your wish...

Re: Lisa answers 2 big questions…..

I think Lisa is very marketable. I would imagine that getting past the high sales season of Christmas determined her departure date. Waiting until just before her departure to let her loyal following know would make many suspect of the terms of her leaving. She probably has a non-compete clause in her contract that would need to expire before engaging in anything that would be a conflict of interest. This is huge for her and QVC. It will be interesting to see where she appears next but speculate will still be visible. She likes the camera, and the camera likes her...a compliment and hope the next opportunity is even more fulfilling than the one she so expertly perfected over the last 2 decades. I do think her enthusiasm waned in recent years while still rewarding her with great blessings. I continue to think that time was right to move on and test the waters. I think now that the announcement has been made we will see more of the Lisa who kept us tuned in for so many years whether buying or just looking to be entertained. I was never one to fawn over her but certainly like others recognized her talent, curiosity, and intelligence. She is more than just a pretty face.

Re: Lisa answers 2 big questions…..

Whatever Lisa will be pursuing, I think it will be in New York, she has already been there twice this week, today was one of them, posting today of a gorgeous day in NYC! Of course she will be hosting FFANY tonight in NYC!

Maybe she met the guy of her dreams and decided it's time to take care of Lisa. It could be as simple as that.

Chi: She doesn't even have an engagement ring, though. I don't think she'd quit for that unless she was at least getting married to the guy. I still think she might turn up on QVC as a vendor, perhaps even for GILI.

Re: Lisa answers 2 big questions…..

She said she's leaving QVC. While some of the vendor reps might be employed by the vendor, some have been reps for any number of lines over the years and appear to be QVC employees. Moreover, GILI is a QVC line so even if she were going to come back as the vendor rep for GILI, she'd be a QVC employee. "Leaving QVC" seems to preclude her coming in as a vendor rep, especially for a QVC owned line of merchandise. As much as some of us dislike seeing her go, it does appear that she and QVC are parting ways, at least for now.

That's a very crabby statement.

There are no limits for people who strive for what they want.

She is attractive and has confidence, which make her detractors squirm.
