I don't understand how/why it would be unethical after she already gave her 2 week, oops, 2 month notice?? Normally, when people give a 2 week notice, it is obvious they got a new job and there is nothing unethical about announcing it.... Guess it might be different with a 2 month notice....or with a TV shopping channel job....I wouldn't know.....

It's unethical to stand in front of one employer's cameras or post on a social media site operated by that employer and talk about a new gig. This is a firm line of ethics for TV and radio personalities. You also add print journalists to the list as no one would write about their a job in the publication of the employer they are resigning from. Only the most extenuating of circumstances allow for variations of this.

OK, I get it....but I thought that's why she created her own personal FB page... Although, it's confusing because sometimes she posts QVC-related pictures on there..... I am amazed she has so much time to post on BOTH pages....I barely have time to post anything on my FB, and usually I don't even feel the need to.....guess public figures have their own priorities...

She needs to keep her fan base informed. There are those that want to keep up with her. She may not always be the one posting, she may have a personal assist helping. If her future plans include staying in the public eye or some kind of product merchandising, she will want to let people know about it so she starts out with a customer base, smart move on her part. Like her or not, she does have her fans. I wish her well.

That is such a selfish statement. Lisa does not need or have to keep her fan base informed of a darn thing.The idea is ridiculous ! She owes you NOTHING !!!! For over 20 years her life has been in a fishbowl, and all people have done is ridicule and bash her. What an insensitive, nosy, selfish, dumb remark.

I hope she continues to say absolutely nothing about herself or her next move and just walks out the door leaving everyone with their jaws dropping. You all deserve it with these stupid threads, speculations and investigations into every aspect of her private life.

The smartest, kindest and most caring thing we ALL should do is just stop ALL of these ridiculous threads, leave her alone, crawl back into our homes and mind our own business.

This entire thing has brought out some terrible things in people and Lisa entire life has been discussed to pieces.

I do not understand why Webbie has not closed down all of these threads for commenting.

EXCUSE ME****I personally DO NOT follow any person I do not know on FB or anywhere else. I was merely stating that for those that are interested (and yes, she does have her fans) She needs to keep them posted. Better statement would have been She WANTS to keep them posted. She IS JUST A SALESPERSON to most of us, but for some, she is much more. I do not follow celebrities lives, but some do. (using an example, NOT saying she is a celebrity) My post was MY OPINION of why she would create a FB page. I wish her well in whatever her next place in life will be, as I would anyone.

I see Miz Lisa has once again been spending time in NYC, where it appears she's been spending far more time lately than in West Chester. Not that I blame her, NYC is a fabulous place, but something is definitely afoot... It isn't THAT far from Philly to NYC, but seems like aside from fun, there must be some reason to be spending so much time in the Big Apple...

Well, if indeed she has something going on in the fashion industry, NYC would be the place to be.

Sounds to me like she is more than tired of being on QVC, doesn't want to do it anymore, and just wants out.

I wouldn't blame her at all if that were indeed the case. Not that I know anything about it, I don't.

I expect when she wants people to know what she will be doing next, she will tell them.

According to someone on the board, she, Courtney and Aimee Kestenberg were invited to Mark Zunino's bridal show in NYC. That was Wednesday I think.

I think Lisa has worked hard and deserves what ever she can afford, wants, or needs.

The only negative I see (and this is just how I personally feel) is that one minute the GILI line was her life dream and we (me) were all reeled in and buying her select picks that she has chosen for us that she loves... and the next minute the GILI thing is just not that important at all. I guess it truly always was just about sales and profit. That is easy to forget that when you do get reeled in. My eyes are a little more open now.

People reach that point of burn out at different ages, so this is no surprise. She probably just needs a break. She'll figure it out. It's really no big deal, and certainly no surprise that everything she seemed to do as an individual was controlled by QVC. Maybe she'll go make some other retailer some money now. She knows how to sell. Just look at all the personal comments here. That shows how good a salesperson she really is.

It just may be that the G.I.L.I. line was created for her to do because she had expressed a desire to move on. That may have been the Q"s solution to trying to keep her, and maybe it wasn't enough. I see NOTHING wrong with wanting to try something else after 20+ yrs. 20+yrs!!! more power to her, I wish her well.

On a shopping channel, it is all about profit and the bottom , that is what these sales people do and some do it better, by saying amazing, I have all of them and I use it all the time.

as far as the GILI line, it was not her design, but reproduction and copies.

Reading hundreds of posts speculating about this person's future is puzzling. You are all basing your opinions, ideas and sometimes downright certainty on what you've seen, what you've been told. You have no idea what a person whom you know only by what you see on a t.v. channel is really like. You see only one side - usually the "good" side. So, how can you possibly think you know what her plans are or even if she has any? How can you be so sure that what you think happened is true? You haven't talked with anyone else but her, and that via posts to her pages. You do not know her. I've said this before. You don't know her any better than you do your mailman!! You might be very rudely awakened by the truth. This is ridiculous and scary, that a salesperson on t.v. can become so vitally important to so many people and that they think she is their friend. It's all about money, people - your money and how they can do the best job of talking you into spending it. And you're all so concerned about her, her future, her well being. Would you feel this way about the guy who sold your last car to you? There is no difference. SCARY. Think about it.
