A perfect job for her. I do believe she has a ton of fashion knowledge and think she will do great. I'll watch.
I think she probably has great fashion knowledge, but I don't think she took the knowledge and applied it to herself. I like Lisa, and I thought she was one of the best hosts on QVC. That being said, she had horrible fashion taste for herself --for the most part. She'd throw on far too many items, they didn't really "go" together, the jackets, tops and blouses were always too tight, etc. It was always a bit of a conundrum in my opinion.
In Italy, she always looked fabulous though. She certainly knew how to dress for high-glitz evening-type events.
Good morning, win. I agree. Lisa certainly had the access and the money! But here is my take on it. She simply tried TOO hard chasing youth. An example would be that Courtney could wear and look great in any of the outfits Lisa kept trying to make work for herself.
If any good has come out of it, Lisa definitely taught me to dress for my age and position in life. It is fun to have a few trendy pieces, but I don't want to be accused of trying to look like something I am not.
And with a few exceptions (like that dress she could neither walk nor sit in--remember that???) she does look elegant in a gown.
ITA Magic! She did try far too hard chasing youth. I have a friend who's like that. She's always taking selfies of herself, putting them on Facebook, getting more and more cosmetic work done as she's nearing 50, etc. etc. etc. I think that people who often take selfies and put them on Instagram and/or Facebook are attention seekers and a bit insecure.

win, are you getting the IT cosmetics TSV? I'm conflicted. I watched a video and not sure I like the delivery system of the foundation and it's only .47 ounces.
Hi Magic. Yes, I think I'm getting it. I'm not big on the delivery system of the eye product, but I love that it has a high spf in it. It's hard to find an concealer with an spf that's any good. I also love the cc cream, and I want the compact for travel. I have a lot of foundations, etc. so the low amount doesn't scare me. I love the brushes, and the powder may be nice for touch ups. I may change my mind on the day it's presented, but I'm kind of thinking I'll get it. I have not bought much from QVC in quite some time. The last item I bought was either a Logo top or the last IT TSV. I'm buying more from Lululemon, Nordstroms or the sale items on HSN. I need to not buy anything.

I agree. And let's face it, it's increasingly challenging to watch QVC just for the merchandise...
Can't wait to see her again.
