It's quite popular.  I've seen a lot of the blends in stores.  People love natural fabric.  This way you get around it by not ironing it so much. I haven't tried it yet.

@goldensrbest    I do.  I have a couple of pair for summer and I love them.

@Teddixat  Are they from QVC or HSN?  I like the casual look, but in the past the ones I had were 100% linen and the knees and butt would bag after a couple hours.

Are the blends better at avoiding this?

I can't answer your question about this type of fabric, but if you're a Costco member they have the Briggs Linen Blend pants on sale this month for $12.99.  They come in 3 different colors, a wheat color, gray and a black.  All have that light, verical striping in them.  From the reviews I've read on the Costco site, they seem to have good reviews.  Here is a picture of them in the light gray color.  For that price you could get all 3 for what it would cost you to buy 1 pair elsewhere.download.jfif

I love them.

Believe it or not, K-mart used to sell a wonderful pair of summer pants under their Basic Editions brand.  They were cotton and linen (as I remember).

I had multiple pairs.  Unfortunately, K-mart is gone and my pants are getting threadbare.

Many of the pants I see now are $40 or $50 or more...which isn't all that bad.  But, the ones from Kmart were often on sale for under $15.

Sadly, I've never found anything near as comfy and inexpensive as those K-mart pants.

@ciao_bella

Off to check these out.  Thanks!

Adding:

I'm not sure about that stripe in the black, but they might be perfect for around the house.  Wish it was just a solid black.

I remember the Briggs brand from Dress Barn days.  Just "googled" them and of course on Amazon many colors between $22 and $26, 55% linen, 45% rayon.

Generally yes.

But it depends on the what the blend is.  And, or course - the style of the pants.
