I love Linea clothes and when I worked in a corporate world with strict dress code would have loved all the beautiful outfits now coming through. However since retiring I am finding the Fall colors way too dark for my complexion - just returned the hunter green tunic, lace top, I also love the new Missoni style sneak peeks but I know already too dark for me. The wk pants are great but I am now having to find brighter colors to go with them. I am going to try the nutmeg zip cardigan as that looks great - unfortunately the dark greys, mahogany, navy, dark reds not working for me. Ivory and taupe work but lots of his beautiful new pieces in darker shads. Ah well it works for me in summer as I love the quality of Linea. My DH said today for goodness sake get some brighter colors! Enjoy all the lovely clothes Ladies.

dulwich, you might not believe this, but during the last hour I have been ruminating on the topic of Linea fans and dark colors. My thought was that the reason the Placement Print Top in geranium (A254304) did not move nearly as well as the lapis option is that most Linea lovers prefer darker colors -- even in the summertime. So, are you the norm or was my thought the norm? I honestly don't know.

Wow. Interesting thoughts from both sides. I am pretty much a whisper knits only Linea lover at this point, and I like the dark colors.

I have a hard time wearing dark colors also, unless I add something lighter or sparkly around my face. I look best in brighter colors also.

I can't wear all black, but I can wear black and white. When I went to a corporate event, I wore a G.I.L.I. black lace blouse and black pants, but I also wore a long Linea crystal necklace, and also a bit more color in my makeup.

I have auburn hair and a light complexion. I have an auburgine cardigan and turtleneck (which are dark); but for some reason, this color looks good on me. I also have the Tarragon leather jacket, and that looks fine on me.

I'm also retired now, and I don't wear many structured jackets, shirts, etc. I also lost a lot of weight, so I have many Linea small and medium items to sell. I may take some to consignment next week, after I have a chance to go through my fall clothes.

Love his darker colors, plus the brighter ones like the new Petrol blue, and ivory and black. The deep shades in almost cool tones (walnut, e.g.) look fantastic contrasting with my fair skin and cool undertones. I shall continue to enjoy them!

For brighter colors, check out the Posh Knits in raspberry, purple haze and ivory.

In addition to your personal coloring, I think much has to do with where you live. I am in the suburbs of NYC. Brights are only seen during the summer, and then in small doses. I think you see more women wear bright colors in the south and warm weather climates. JMHO.

I am busty, so bright colors are for scarves and layers under cardi's and jackets.

Hi Ladies I envy all of you that look good in the darker colors - I do live between CA and AZ warmer climes but since getting older dark colors make me look very drained but I can still buy Linea wk skirts and pants which I love. Goldie76 I think the norm is what you look and feel good in be it light or dark. I really loved the lace top but I looked like I was recovering from a major illness but when I put on red or yellow I glow hopefully nutmeg will work as I do love the quality of Linea.

I look best in jewel tones and last year bought a lot of malachite, deep mallard blue (really teal) etc. I look good in Hunter because I look good in any green and navy blue is better than black. I can't wear any beige, ivory, wine, etc. Linea has too many choices for my pocketbook. Check out the colors on the wk turtlenecks.

I also wear brighter colors than the people around me; I used to do a red wash.
