Has anyone had trouble removing the cardboard inserted in one of the legs of the shear tights? Try as I may, after removing the cardboard 2 pairs of my tights incurred a run up the leg! I tried folding the cardboard before removing but that obviously didn't help on one of the pair. My orders were well after the 30 day return policy and packaging had been discarded so I did not return. At $15 + shipping for each I am leary on ordering again. Louis, please revise the packaging as I love the fit and feel of these tights on the body!

Hi Mfw....I had that issue with one of my packages and sent everything back with the invoice and a note attached and I was credited. Just a reminder anything bought as of September 20, 2014 can be returned under holiday return policy. Go to customer service heading and you can read to confirm. Sham, nice tights.

Thanks for the advise Happy Lady. Unfortunately I discarded the tights as well! I gave it the old college try by contacting CS but was told without the product to return, nothing could be done. Live and learn, but at least I know enough to hang onto packaging until I actually put on the tights with no issues!

Mfw ~ that's just "wrong". Thankfully, dollars wise, it's a "small" loss. But a loss is a loss. It doesn't quite seem like customer service helped you long enough to get the picture. I once returned a Linea watch that fell apart on me. I'd had it many months and no packaging and they kindly let me return it for a full refund. I'm sorry this happened. It's definitely annoying.

$15 shipping for each item? You should have signed up and posted here earlier, because the situation you describe is untenable and the exchange was extended because of the holidays. Had you come here earlier, perhaps there could have been some reconciliation but you still need to collect the shipping fee of $15 each pair. That is just not right.

No, she said it was $15+shipping for each one.

For each item, for each one? The difference, please?

The total costs = $15 was the cost of the tights, plus shipping costs which were $4.47 (that's what mine cost anyway). With tax added, for me it was $20.64 total cost for a pair of these tights.
Mfw, the same thing happened to me. After it happened with the second pair, I "inspected" it closely and found that there were microscopic tiny holes along where the leg of the tight met the panty part, so I suspect mine were defective and perhaps not a result of the cardboard as I originally thought. I didn't have the packaging at that point either, but sent them back for a full refund.
I was really disappointed in the sheer tights as I wear hosiery of some sort every day for work, year round. I am not rough on hosiery - I tend to wear hosiery out over time and not with runs, snags, etc. I haven't been nearly as impressed with the Linea hosiery overall as most others have been other than being able to match some of my Linea clothing colors.
I did have an odd thing happen - I had ordered a backup pair of the opaque tights in Aubergine. What arrived was a pair of the black animal print tight with the aubergine label on it! The label had been ripped and slapped on the tights crooked, no package, no invoice, nothing. I called QVC and they wouldn't help me with returning it, either. The CS rep. I had the misfortune of getting could have cared less - her attitude was that it wasn't possible and she did nothing to try and find out for me. I didn't have time to pursue it, so I kept the tights - haven't even tried them on yet so I don't know if they are even the right size. Of course the aubergine is all sold out now - I will just be really careful with the one pair I do have. But like I said, I am not rough on hosiery and I have other pairs of tights I have had for years.

Beccaboone, that is most unfortunate and you should have pursued that with a VP or director of customer service. Had I gotten such a "jerk" on the line, I would have asked for her/his supervisor. I hardly think the Q wants that kind of reputation. I do believe they would help you. That person does not need a job if he/she acts like that to customers. Customers are always "right." If you and others, like Mfw allow this to happen, CS will get no better. Hold their "feet to the fire," sotaspeak and see that you are treated with the respect you deserve.
