Louis has, at times, posted his drawings on his website. He does it and attaches it to each of the outfits his models are to wear with all the accessories included as well so that the models only need to take the hanger and get dressed. He does all the styling himself before he leaves for QVC. Each outfit is complete and ready to go and it makes the changes for the models easier and quicker. I know of no other designer at QVC that does this. Louis treats his work and his clients as if it is a runway show, very, very professional. I am sure that if we ask him to post the sketches on his website either before or after QVC showing, he would. I think he is amazing in the time he takes for us.

What you wrote here, Somertime, makes me think that maybe the whole of Linea comes down to respect. Louis knows through our messages to him on his blog (and here, when he reads the forum -- it happens on occasion) that we respect his work and background and who he is as an individual. By the same token, he has respect for us and our tastes and desires, fashion-wise. To a degree, he gets to feel out who we are as individuals, and he has a respect for his Linea Ladies. It shows in various ways. Of course he gets paid, and that is the fundamental basis of our relationship with him, after all. So what? He provides goods that we highly desire, and we pay for them. But that is drilling down something so sweet and pleasurable to a grim basic.

Or have it so that its an app to download-- LDO's sketches in an app! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Great idea, JJM! You deal more easily with all the technical goodies that are now available than I do, thus you think of the more practical way of doing things in these "modern times."

I have a stupid phone-- my DH keeps trying to talk me into a smart phone-- I keep saying: No NO NO!{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

Bur JJM, with a smart phone, the Q will text you when your order ships!

JJM, how was Les Miz? Did you see my post to you under "What are you wearing..." thread?

Very enjoyable! Thank you. The theater looked to have a sold out program and there is only an 18 minute intermission to use rest rooms. One restroom for handicapped people is on the main floor and the other 2 are upstairs. It was very organized-- keep to the left of the stairs and hallways and then a person was counting how many left the room and said 'the next 4 can go in' One good thing was that we were allowed back to our seats when the play restarted again. Traditionally, a person must wait until there is a break in the action before returning to their seat.
