Linea A83571 Order Status

I just checked the order status on my jacket (ordered the medium denim) while it was being presented and it went from" in process" to "backordered"! This is totally ridiculous! When I ordered there was no indication it was out of stock. Anybody else find this happen to their order? I am slightly miffed now. I assume they will not bill me until it ships, correct? I have never had an order go to backorder before this.
