Was just looking through the Lands End catalog I received today. This outfit is on page 42.
Red buffalo check flannel shirt with a gray herringbone pencil skirt (they don't show the entire skirt but each item is listed) and a leopard print cloche hat.
To my eye that's just too much mixing going on.

I completely agree, separately, they look nice, but who would know with them all put together like that? 😂

I got the same catalog today but hadn't looked at it yet!
You are right! Each piece individually is attractive but the 3 together is jarring visually.

Not crazy about the skirt, but I would totally wear the hat with the shirt.

I agree that, individually, all of the items are nice. Together, might be a little too much....but I've seen much worse...so it doesn't really bother me. I am, however, already getting a little tired of seeing so much Buffalo plaid.

I think it's cute, I'd wear the entire outfit. It's far better than seeing so many on TV with PJ's on all the time

Not a fan of "Let's throw everything together now!". Unity is what makes prints flow.
Use an approximately close print or color to make a flow. There is a method.

Shirt and pants would pass muster.....the hat in the outfit needs to go.
The hat by itself would be okay for someone that wears hats. (Not me).

"Maybe" with a black fedora..........

Was it Coco Chanel that said look in the mirror and take one thing off? This is a perfect example of that rule and the one thing should've been the hat. The skirt and blouse work as far as I'm concerned
