I say this in all humility- I have always been judgmental, probably due to my own insecurities about my appearance. In the past few years with God's help, a lot of prayer, I've been able to shake off that ugly trait. Now when I am out and about, I no longer judge others' appearance. I've learned to say to myself, we are all precious in Gods sight. That person has a reason or a story for why they look the way they do.

I don't wear leggings .... never have ... never will.

I've never worn or owned leggings. I did try on a pair once, but even with a tunic top covering everything, I just didn't like the look on me. I wore straight and slim leg pants and jeans during the legging decades.
Leggings were very popular in my city for many years. Women were wearing them everywhere. I admit I got tired of seeing the look. My 21 year old niece and her friends were wearing leggings with crop tops a few years ago. 😱
I still see a few leggings being worn in my city, but I'm seeing more long loose pants dragging on the ground, especially on younger people.

@Franklinbell Awwww well, I applaud your efforts. I agree it's hard to maintain but for me and my family (dad was a sr Olympic swimmer, mom played basketball, softball, tennis in the 1940s) and my children are all athletic to this day. It's a lifestyle that I have led for 52 years consistently.
Work in progress is admirable. You will find what fits your needs and I believe not only will you feel better, but your body will love you!

I want to go up to each one & tell them they look Great!
How wonderful that they are comfortable with their bodies & confident in themselves as human beings to put on what is soft & easy to wear & go live their lives!!
Not in every situation. But if they are just out shopping or walking on the boardwalk, you do it!!
Not everyone that works out & keeps themselves healthy get a lean, thin body.
A lot of people are healthy but have different type bodies & maybe they just came from working out & have on their workout clothes.
Maybe they are just comfortable wearing the leggings.
I admire that.
I get tired of feeling ashamed of myself because someone may be looking at me & judging me for my body, or how I dress, or how my hair is grey.
I do not care to see their underware or orivate bits
You saw all that as she walked by?

@Jk9 What is the health issue with wearing leggings?
I am not aware of the danger of wearing soft, stretchy pants.

@ALRATIBA Well I never would either!!
I said I admire the people that are confident in themselves.
I am vain enough to try to fool people into believing that I am not heinous but not vain enough to work real hard at actually not being "eye pollution".

I don't care what others wear. I may notice, but don't care.

I guess some might call me hopelessly old-fashioned, but dressing like a lady means respecting yourself as a woman. Sad that modesty is out of fashion with some folks. I am referring to leggings that are not covered by lunic tops, of course.
There are a couple ladies who come to the nail parlor I attend. They are 50ish and have great bodies, like they work out every single day. They wear tights and crisp white shirts that mostly cover their private areas. I think they are both darling. One has a very chic short haircut and her hair is beautiful black; the other is a precious little blond. They are both married to former professional football players who, themselves, work out a lot. They are friends as are their husbands. I don't see anyone else in my town wearing them and I hope I never do but I think these girls just wear them probably to their workout and then to get their nails done.

The op isn't saying women shouldn't wear leggings. But, when they do they should cover the butt no matter what shape your in. No one wants to see your lower parts whether your thin or not.
