I love dark green but not in leather.  I owned a Calvin Klein hunter green with dyed hunter green fox collar maxi coat back in the day when I was 18.  Back then black leather was more of a statement as to who you were in a certain group so when I bought a leather jacket, I selected a deep maroon.  Today, I would definitely consider a black leather jacket or dark brown.  I definitely like the aviation jackets in brown leather.

I have that jacket in the mallard blue. I get a lot of mileage out of it.

I wore colored leather and suede years ago but I'm over the rainbow colors now.  I prefer natural colors but now that I have my olive Dooney, I think it would like a cool olive leather jacket to hang with.

So I tune to HSN and see cute embroidered jackets by Giuliana. I really don't need one, but I'm sure tempted.

I prefer neutrals for my leather and suede jackets because I wear a lot of prints and colors in my tops.  The colors I currently own are olive green suede, dark wine leather, camel faux leather, & black faux leather.  I owned a red suede jacket many years ago, but I rarely wore it.

IMO, leather jackets, bags and boots should be in natural colors of brown, tan and black....just like if they were still on the cow. I never saw a red or navy cow.
