This morning I watched the rerun of
SYTTD. A bride wanted a Lazaro dress, she had a bridesman who wanted a blush ballgown. She tried one on and said it was just much too big and full.
The designer Lazaro happened to be at Kleinfeld (what a coincidence lol) and chose this dress for the bride to try on. She said it had no hanger appeal but once she tried it on she loved it and chose it. It looked great on her. She wore a simple long white veil that looked beautiful with the dress.
What do you think? I couldn't find a picture of the SYYTD bride.
There's also a non strapless version

I don't love it and I don't hate it. But I wouldn't choose it.

I used to watch this show all of the time. I still DVR it.
Just haven't had time (I'm obsessed with LivePD these days).
Anyway, I know who he is. His dresses are lovely.
But this one....my first thought was..."Boy! I'll bet that dress is heavy".
You'd need to be very, very skinny (like the model).
I have heard so many times from lots of people that the BRIDE needs to wear the dress....NOT the DRESS needs to wear the bride.
It makes sense. In this case, it would obviously be that latter.....

There is something Ms. Havisham meets Helena Bonham Carter about this.

Funny, I saw a bride buy this dress on Yes to the Dress yesterday.

I watched the rerun of last night's episode today. So it was the same bride, same episode.

I think the strapless is stunning.
