Yesterday I heard a financial analyst say brick and mortar stores are desperate to sell their massive inventories and most will be offering great discounts.  I did some browsing locally this afternoon.   Pretty much everything had some kind of sale price, but nothing that low.

BTW-  the prices of the small amount of new merchandise were chilling, especially for cotton -   and I was in the local chain I like for my everyday clothing.  One day soon, I'll browse the other side of town even though I do not currently need any special outfits, I like to look.
