I used to wear them years ago.

I did like that the material was thick and soft, and the pockets were very nice and deep.

I did not like that the waist was very small and the hips were very big in comparison.  Even with the elastic I found the waistline to be uncomfortable for my figure.  In order for me to get a waistline that wasn't digging into my stomach, the hips were so large that I was swimming in the pant legs.  Perhaps those with an hourglass figure wouldn't have that problem.

I did try another pair a few years ago, and found (like many products now) that the material was much thinner, but the cut of the pants was the same and still uncomfortable for me.  The only thing I still liked about the pants were the large pockets.

This is off topic, but the post reminded me that I got an email that Lands End has fleece pull over tops for $10 today.

I plan to check out the sport knit pants.

Edited to add: I looked at them on the site. They are $13 and change using the code listed beneath the product photo. The ratings were around 4 stars. They might be worth a shot at 70% off.

@goldensrbest

I have the sports knit corduroy pants ... four pairs.  Love them!

(I initially bought two, and as soon as I wore the first pair, I bought two more pairs.  They were on sale.)

They fit perfectly.  Fabric has enough weight to hang really well.

My only criticism .... I wish the black were "blacker."  That the color had more depth.  The other three colors are okay.

Just to say, I love Lands End.  Just this year I've gotten into the Sport Knit Pants.  The knit pants I'd say run large, I ordered down 2 whole sizes. Usuaally a sizr xl, in LE,  sport knit pants and the denim sport knit I am a size M.  They wear like iron.  Not dressy, good for everyday wear, and you can't beat the price,

I have lots of older pairs & they wear like iron but I stopped buying when they changed to a thinner fabric that got small pinholes all over.

I agree with some of the other posters that the quality is not what it used to be but what is? For the price they are good pants. I just bought an additional pair because I use them for my "at home" pants. I was able to size down to a medium when I would usually wear a large at Lands End.

I have worn the LE sport knit pants and shorts.  I LOVE the shorts, but I like a bit of spandex in my pants so that the knees don't get baggy.  I agree that they run large.  I usually wear a L in pants, but wear a M in sport knit items.

I really like them for around the house, but nice enough to wear to the grocery store and other local errands.

Good quality, but Land's End's quality has gone down a bit, but for the sale price, they are great.  They also run a bit on the large size.  Usually go down one size.

I should add that the sport knit "denim" pants have 15% spandex, and only front pockets.  but no black denim.  I really love them.  straight legs, just everyday denim pants.  and for the price (today $22.00)  and free shipping. The sport knit pants are 100% cotton, LLBeans has cotton and spandex knit pants but way more money, but the way I look at it for around the house pants LE pants are my go to.
