I love this purple, they call it rubellite. Also available in pewter heather and true navy. I don't know what you would do with the tie if you left it untied as they suggest-it just hangs down?

Aside from the 3/4 sleeves, I really like this.  Why wouldn't you tie it??

Love the color, the style and the material! Agree that just leaving the ends hanging could look odd. I wonder if they meant that you could create a tied loop instead of a bow? I hope we see more of that color this fall/winter.

I usually don't care for purple (on me/myself), but this is a deep magenta on my screen, which I love.  Or deep violet, or whatever else others have described.
