Because of its short length, the lovely lace skirt Louis featured on his blog http://www.louisdellolio.com/blog/?p=5079#comments is out of the question for me. However, for those who are faintly -- or very -- interested in the skirt, I think you might be interested in the circular I received today from Lord & Taylor.

On page 8 is what is described as "lace skirt in black." And by the way, it is a tidy $498. Louis strikes again.

Thanks so much Goldie! Isn't it pretty? I just love it and am so glad it fits well. I was lucky enough to get a size 14 but with the added winter lbs was afraid it may be too snug. I tried it on over control top stockings and it is perfect. I am so excited! I have to say that you are one of the sweetest posters on this board! I have been lurking but a bit nervous to post.

Now that I see it again I am rethinking my shoe choice. I was going to wear black satin shoes but maybe a nude or metallic would be better and closer to the shoes on the model.
