Yeah, but LDO is not everyone's taste. It is classic, but it all looks the same. I bought a maxi skirt and a WK turtleneck last year. I wore it once for Thanksgiving. I have to dress professionally when I go into the office in Manhattan, but other than that, I would never wear this style. In fact, I have never worn that outfit into the office. I wear my SG outfits, and I've worn my LOGO tops too.

You may not like SG or LOGO, but a lot of us do. Apparently, QVC has noticed, and that's why they have so much more air time.

Sorry but if you say you have to dress professionally and don't wear Louis' clothing but you wear Logo, to me that just doesn't make sense. Logo in no way is for the professional woman, IMO. I'm not a logo fan at all with all those shark bite hems, uneven hems and all that layering. I much prefer Louis' classy designs.

Good for you!! I couldn't care less if it doesn't make sense to you. Baby, I wear LOGO well! LOGO most certainly can look professional. If you have any kind of sense of style. You stick with your Louis look, and I will stick with what I like! Calling me out on my job now?? QVC, please keep bringing us the beautiful designs of LORI GOLDSTEIN! LOGO is the BEST! Thank you for giving LOGO it's own show. We didn't even have to ask....sales dictate programming!

No need to get nasty with me, there is no need for it and I would appreciate it if you please NOT call me "baby"! I hope you don't speak to your boss or your professional co-workers in that manner. I said it was MY opinion which I am entitled to, just as you are yours. And another thing, I was not calling you out on your job, I just don't see her styles being professional. Sorry but to me, Lori's clothes are not what I would call designer, but that's me and my taste in clothes. I worked in a very prestigious law firm in NYC and then went on to work for a Judge and I, nor would anyone else, wear her type of clothes for work. AGAIN, this is MY opinion but to me she is not a true designer. I really don't know how any designer or anyone can layer all those uneven hemmed and that many clothes on their body. Another thing, I have lots of style because IMO, true designers are Louis, George Simonton, Mark Zinino, Bob Mackie, Isaac Mizrahi, Susan Graver. You love your Logo, I don't. As the saying goes, different strokes for different folks.

I like LOGO. I like Linea. I like both designers. Those two hours were a win win for me.

My feelings exactly. I like and wear both, and even sometimes together!

To the Logo ladies that wear both. Is it much thinner than say whisper knit? Is it as thin as it appears on tv? Or it just the white that looks so thin? I want to give it a try just want to make sure I pick the right item for me.

If you're talking about her cotton cashmere fabric, yes it's lighter weight than the original whisper knit and much lighter weight than the newer every needle rib whisper knit. Ditto her 100% cotton and cotton blends which are more of a t-shirt weight than the Linea Leisure which is heavier and thicker. I don't consider LOGO fabrics "thin"; more like fine, as in a finer weight.

I love the LOGO pieces that I own because of the fit across the bust, shoulders, and sleeves. Her's is a true "boutique" fit similar to three dots, James Perse, or Velvet.

Buck-I-Nana, negative comments about a "designer" of such an opposing style(?) has NO affect on any of the designers mentioned in the comments of lovetoshopathome. They were all famous before QVC. You're retired. I'm retired. Surely you remember the quality and style of Anne Klein who Mr. Dell'Olio was associated with. Life's too short to comment on a QVC, or any, forum. Let's read books and enjoy nature. My last comment - " Lori Goldstein is NOT a Designer".

The attitudes displayed by a large number of folks devoted to a specific design and how they treat others through out the forum makes one pause to think, whether you like it or agree with it or not. It certainly paints a picture of the "type" of people who wear the apparel and if that type of person is not the type you are or appreciate you'd think twice about wanting to look like them. JMHO.

So basically, go ahead and be an ...... and then you can come back and start another campaign to save your beloved designer.

I agree. But it also seems to me that the fashion boards are not for the timid. Smiley Happy Some of the posters are a bit overzelous, IMO, about their favorite designers. Just got chased off a board because of a button comment...of all things. LOL! But really everyone is entitled to their opinions about who and what they personally prefer to wear or watch. To me the Q is not that different from a B &M store...in the sense that both retailers offer items...departments where I don't buy product. Macy's has a LOT of depts that carry product I think is really awful. But I'm guessing someone ... a lot of someones...like what is offered. It's not like we all have to dress the same...thank goodness.

HI kate2357.... I'm glad I found you. I came across the inappropriate response to your simple statement on the Linea forum about not preferring logo buttons and I felt badly for you. The response to your well written opinion was over the top and uncalled for. You always post appropriate posts. All posters are welcome on the Linea site and do feel welcome to come back. I have been buying Louis's clothes since 1982 and buy more than anyone else that blogs on his forum. I get all kinds of nonsense thrown at me; I just ignore until they make it personal like was done to you. I had the same issue yesterday so I know how inappropriate some poster's comments are. If you want to participate on a forum don't let any of them make you feel unwelcome. If everyone stays away the Linea forum, because of a few bullies, the Linea forum will not serve the purpose it was created for. I look forward to your critiquing items you have purchased. Hope to hear from you soon.Smile
