I am glad LDO is offering more casual clothing. His designs, fabrics and cuts suit my life (and body type) very well.

I think Logo tops are so overpriced. I own two of the rayon black v neck, shark bottom, 3/4 sleeves to wear over yoga pants at the gym. They are so flimsy I handle them with great care so they do not fall apart. When I feel fat, the Logo tops hide sins. I certainly do not want a wardrobe of them.

It was funny to see a real award winning designer Louis Dell'olio follow Lori Goldstein.

My thoughts, too ! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

I told my DH that LOGO & SG charge the same (or much more) for their clothing that Louis charges, and HIS are classic (and will last forever in my wardrobe). It was nice to see CLASS during the 6 P.M. show ! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Yeah, but LDO is not everyone's taste. It is classic, but it all looks the same. I bought a maxi skirt and a WK turtleneck last year. I wore it once for Thanksgiving. I have to dress professionally when I go into the office in Manhattan, but other than that, I would never wear this style. In fact, I have never worn that outfit into the office. I wear my SG outfits, and I've worn my LOGO tops too.

You may not like SG or LOGO, but a lot of us do. Apparently, QVC has noticed, and that's why they have so much more air time.

If this is directed at my post, my answer is TO EACH THEIR OWN. Wink

I'm watching Linea now and noticed how Louis describes stitch types and said yummy yet. His line is more classic yet comfortable.

I enjoy watching Louis and his line -- VERY Classy -- and I love his Classic clothing (not 'trendy') ! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup} I wish he was on more often... {#emotions_dlg.sad}

I was glued to The Show. The models were all perfectly styled, and they never look "silly". Jacqueline (sp?), his wife, is so lovely and I truly enjoy watching their chemistry when she is modeling his line. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1} I want to see MORE shows from The Master of women's clothing ! Smile

I really enjoy Louis' shows. They are like a fashion show you would have to pay admission to attend. Love the way he styles one model casual, one for a work environment and one for dressy. They are accessorized beautifully too. I have a lot of his fashions, but none of his jewelry. It looks beautiful and stylish. I enjoy Jac modeling too.

Linea can be incorporated into many people's life styles.

Too bad some of the LDO lovers can't be as respectful of other fashion designers and vendors as they demand other be of their beloved LDO.

Different strokes for different folks. What you consider too pricey for other designers, some consider to be too pricey for Linea as it's not a style they would want to wear.

You can love a designer and his/her work without making disparaging remarks about another designer.

Why do I like LDO? First, because he has a blog that shows his clothing with much better photos than the ones here. Second, if you have a question about the clothing, you can visit his blog and ask him directly. Third, if you have a certain request such as having a garment made in optic white instead of ivory, it will eventually be created.

Can you do that with Susan Graver or Lori Goldstein? Can you ask Susan for her to design a specific garment for you in a color you have requested?? Can Lori make clothing that doesn't all look the same with those asymmetrical hems or leggings? Can you request from Lori to make symmetrical hems on some of her clothing line?

I like LDO because he makes himself accessible to his customers; he doesn't just present clothing, he explains why and how he designed the clothing.

That's fine that you like LDO. It's fine that anyone and everyone like LDO. What I find distasteful and hypocritical is the few LDO lovers who disparage everyone else.

Susan does read and respond to requests for styles and colors by the way. Susan also explains a great deal about why or how something is done on her designs, and then gets bashed on these forums for talking too much.

I don't know much about Lori. Doesn't change anything, at least not in my opinion.

I have a few LDO pieces, and love them. I've bought a few LDO pieces that I sent back because they just didn't work with my body type or my lifestyle. Doesn't matter how often you tell us we all can wear LDO - we can't or don't want to.
