Re: LOGO Skirt A273377 (cringe)

This is actually the first piece by LOGO that I'm seriously tempted to buy.

Thanks for pointing it out!

Re: LOGO Skirt A273377 (cringe)

At first i just saw a classic pencil skirt.  (never out of style)  The sides and back I don't care for, but I am not buying it.  I don't see it as frumpy.   The right body type wearing that skirt would be considered one hot mama!

I don't care for the skirt mostly because of the ruching. Pencil skirts are sexy, but the ruching (to me) takes away from the classic look of the pencil or straight (skirt) style.  I understand that the ruching is suppose to give it an edgy look but this one's a miss IMO.

In my opinion it is both edgy and cute. For those that purchased it, enjoy!

Looks like something from the 40s.  I've never seen a frumpier looking piece of clothing.  It does nothing for any shape.

A simple, "I don't care for it" or "it wouldn't look good on me" would've worked without denegrading other buyers who like it and feel that it looks good on them, no?

Of course, it's obvious that wasn't the real point of this post........SMH

I didn't "denegrade" other buyers.  I simply stated what I felt.  It looks frumpy to me and I don't feel it complimented any figure .. even the models.  That was the REAL point.  There were no hidden messages.

@KingstonsMom  You are exactly right.  The "cringe" in the title makes the motives - and the rudeness and insensitivity - very clear indeed.

And IMO to write it "does nothing for any shape" is  a ludicrous statement, esp. given the customer reviews and how it looks on certain people in the videos. Both that statement and the "cringe" in the title were meant to get a rise out of people whihch was the motive.  And yes, I can accept the fact that people don't like LOGO; what I don't accept is the rudeness and insensitivity at how they express their dislike of LOGO.

I have not purchased this skirt - it wouldn't look good on my body type. In fact I don't own any pencil skirts any more.  But I don't condemn this skirt  as not being for anyone at all because it wouldn't look good on me, nor would I use "cringe" in describing it when I know people on the board have purchased it and are enjoying it.  That behavior is in itself cringeworthy.

Here is Stacy wearing it in henna last night - she looks great!

Re: LOGO Skirt A273377 (cringe)

I like the skirt - it looks young and edgy.  Found skirts are so easy to wear and have several in my closet.  Usually I don't particularly like the layered look and think the look may be a trend that will go the way of Sport Savy in a year or two  But this skirt is an exception.
