Looks like something from the 40s. I've never seen a frumpier looking piece of clothing. It does nothing for any shape.

There are 46 reviews with an average rating of four stars so it appears a lot of people disagree with you. Tell 'ya what....feel free not to purchase it and let those who did purchase it enjoy it. If you haven't even seen it in person let alone tried it on, how can you write "it does nothing for any shape." Try reading some of the reviews of people who like how it looks..

Pencil skirts never go out of style. And the ruching is an interesting update. I saw a skort at Bass Pro Shop today with the ruching on both sides but it was adjustable and a shorter skirt. very cute
After watching the online video, IMO the skirt looked very flattering on Amy as well as the model. As Andreatoo says, pencil skirts never go out of style - plus the ruching gives it an updated look. And the black sold out in a heartbeat, not surprised.

Black sold out so obviously someone likes it. I have seen Amy in this skirt ( or a similar one) and she looks great in it. As others have said...it's a pencil skirt....always in style.

It would appear that the sizes sold out are all the smaller ones. This is the style garment that flatters a slimmer figure; not surprising that is the case. That skirt is not one that I would feel comfortable wearing, even though I am relatively small. While pencil skirts are classic, this one is more trendy, and I don't think it will have the staying power of a classic garment. Then again, this is LOGO, not Linea.

Funny. I just bought a black dress with ruching through the skirt section and a scoop neck top. I think it is really flattering. (hopefully I don't look frumpy).

@sparklestarHave to agree. I like pencil skirts, but the knit is so thin it isn't supporting the drape, and it's rather flimsy. A pencil is also supposed to have a vent and it's going to be hard to walk unless you like to do so with your knees together.
The skirt Amy wears is well made and hangs right. It can be seen very well as she stands next to the clothes.
