Any advice on preventing or staving off LINT and/PILLING? I have heard of putting it in the freezer for a few hours. It tightens the fibers. If so, would you dampen it before it goes into a ziplock or prior to washing ? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Pilling is caused by the fibers being rubbed such as what happens when a seat belt or shoulder strap rubs on a garment.  The fibers are broken and form tiny balls.  Sorry but I don't see where freezing would prevent that.  They used to say freezing kept hose from running but never saw any evidence of that either.

The only thing I have found to get rid of pilling and excessive lint is to use a clothes shaver. Pilling will just happen will normal wear but it can be somewhat minimized by laundering your stuff inside out to help reduce the rubbing in the washer and dryer.

I totally agree. I purchased a shaver and love the darn thing. It was like $6 on-line at Walmart. Works great👍🏼

Another thing, get one of those things in the auto department at Walmart to put on your seatbelt to prevent the rubbing.  It has helped considerably with my cashmere sweaters which are the worst to pill because they are warm and the seat belt creates friction and before I knew about the shaver and the seat belt cover, I had discarded two cashmere sweaters and now I have saved 3.

@Kimnola.   I thought it was all y'alls input.  That's what it was in Texas.

I have this version from Walmart.  $7.88.  Works like a charm.
