That is one ugly gown

She posted a picture on FB where she is wearing the PR dress on the Red Carpet. I assume that it was worn for no longer than 10 minutes. But you're right. The whole episode on PR was about her wearing the dress on the Red Carpet and at the time, it wasn't presented as "she'll wear it on the Red Carpet for one photo and then go put on a real designer gown." I have to say that looking at the PR dress, it doesn't look very Red Carpet compared to her previous gowns. But still and all, you're right. The episode was about designing the gown for the Red Carpet.

The episode was about designing a dress to be sold on QVC. They probably used it to help promote the fact that they do red carpet shows, but it was actually a stupid concept to combine the two - really failed the designers (the one they sent home was the dress Lisa was most likely to wear - and I liked it better than what she ended up wearing (assuming change in fabric)) and the viewers/customers who wanted to buy something wearable from the show.
Lisa wore the dress, we don't know for how long. And Korto got to sell her dress on QVC - I think that beats somebody from QVC wearing your dress on the red carpet any day.

I can see where the statements of Lisa wearing Kortu's dress on the red carpet were misleading. However, in truth they never ever said that would be the gown Lisa would wear hosting QVC's on air shows. I always assumed they meant something like Lisa could step out of a cab (or Limo) arriving at the venue from her hotel wearing the dress, walk a red carpet into the event facility, and that would count as being on the red carpet wearing the dress. Once inside she would change into Mark's gown for the show.
The episode of Project Runway should have just been about the dress being available for purchase on QVC.com instead of all that phoney Lisa will wear it nonsense.

I knew she wouldn't wear it. On PR her faced dropped at all the prospects, except perhaps for one that looked like a bridal dress. I think she should have been a sport and worn the dress and had fun with it. The whole concept is really all about Lisa, not all about QVC. I do think Lisa looked beautiful in the blue dress and I enjoy these special shows, but she came across, to me, as too good for the PR dress.
