I normally watch cooking and gardening shows. When I tune in she seems to alway be on. I was wondering who she is because I have never seen her, except on QVC. I'm not bashing her. Just curious as to who she is

I haven't

t bought any of her clothes but I first knew of Kim when I used to watch "Kim of Queens." She and her mother and sister would coach girls who were entering, or wanted to enter beauty pageants.

She was so encouraging and kind to these young girls. She instilled confidence in themselves and made them feel good about who they were. Because of that I admire her. I don't watch her very much on 

QVC. I think the only shows I watch live anymore are Valerie Parhills, though I used to watch everything.

I believe you @missmaggiesmom. You post here at your own risk!  There are certain posters who automatically seem to "know" your motivations and are comfortable implying you are cunning or stupid. There are many kind people here too but sometimes it's just not worth it.

Her show that she had years ago with her mother - Kim of Queens - was very good and funny.  She and her mother coached people who wanted to be in beauty pageants.  She was also a pageant winner years ago as well.  I guess this must have been where she got her start.

They have said many times that Jane Treacy brought Kim to QVC, not that Jane discovered Kim.  Very different things.  

Kim was all over the airways long before QVC.  Jane was a big fan and suggested to her to start her brand for QVC.
