I feel like I've tried most of the ways to keep pants tucked into boots but not very successfully.  I have boot straps that clip; however the metal digs into my foot and I've also tried bands around ankle.  What am I doing wrong?  Help......

@patticakes Sorry but you are most likely wearing the wrong style pants for the boots.

Skinny jeans and leggings work the best for me and they also have to be the right length.

Keep working at it, you'll get it!

IMO the pants legs are too short to be tucked in a ankle type boot and stay tucked.

There are many "stirrups" with clips to hold your pants down in boots. You just clip the strap on one side and then the strap goes under your foot and clip on the other side of the pant leg.  Not sure what they're called on Amazon, but I have had mine for many years as a horse rider.

Pants stirrup clips .... quite a few selections at Amazon.  They've been around for lots of years.

I do this sort of thing with some of my pants with boots using socks to secure the pant legs.

I just wish I had skinny enough legs to be able to put boots on over my pants.  I'm lucky just to get my leg in.

I've used both the stirrup clips and the sock technique depending on the boot I'm wearing.  Both work as options.
