With Katrina in their staff, I don't see how they can try to pass off Shawn K as a fashionista.

I agree with @millieshops about LR.  I really enjoyed when she was on, even though I did not necessarily like her.  I think she had real skill in telling me why the item was a good one for me to buy, how it would look on particular body types, the function behind particular style features.  The other hosts just don't have LR's skills.

Katrina is such a pleasure to listen to, and she can style the schlockiest QVC items and look great!  But I don't look like her, and I am sure I will look very different in the clothes.  Katrina knows fashion, but I don't know if she can style ME.  I shop when she is presenting quality items because she can show you what is worthwhile, and the quality of items.  But that is not what QVC always has to sell.  That Haute Hippie hour, the items were IMO very schlocky.  I think she said the brand is now exclusive to QVC.  I was trying to find out if they are out of business, but saw nothing about that on my quick search.  WWD had a 2017 report that Halston had taken over Haute Hippie management.  That's probably how they came to QVC.  And now they are probably done.

She said Haute Hippie "Tribe" is exclusive to QVC, not Haute Hippie.  Haute Hippie Tribe is their lower end.  A dress from Haute Hippie's top of the line might cost anywhere from $700 to $1700.

I am aware of what Haute Hippie is.  What retail stores are offering its clothes other than perhaps a haute hippie store, if there are any still?

@NYCLatinaMe   Your question was "she said Haute Hippie was exclusive to QVC.."  She did not say that.  She said Haute Hippie Tribe..."

You can probably google to see if there are other stores which sell it.  I think Wal-Mart is also selling a lower end Haute Hippie, but I could be wrong.

I do not believe that any stores carry the Haute Hippie line anymore.  I think you have to look to the secondary market like Poshmark, The Real Real, etc. to find items or HH does have an on-line store.  I mentioned this when HH Tribe first came to QVC.

Not sure what happened but HH used to be sold in all the higher end department stores.

I believe tonight is Katrina's final night of hosting The Szish List, as she has said her last day at QVC is April 29.  I will really miss this show (and probably won't watch if someone else hosts).  I guess I will get to bed earlier from now on - the show runs from midnight - 1:00 a.m. in my time zone.  The unique items she presented and the commentary panel of fashion experts will be sorely missed!!!!

I have a feeling that it's Katrina Z's move (choice).

Her time slot, etc. might have been an issue.

Of  course, I don't know for sure.

I'm only predicting that something good and something successful else is in her near  future.

Wishing her the best !  Heart

We'll wait and see.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
