IMO those Teddy coats are "bathrobey" in general.  I also think the most popular color-- that brown shade-- is a very difficult color to wear for many people.

I feel the same about them as I do puffer coats:  They look best on the tall and extremely thin.

I totally agree with your final comment.  I may be tall but no longer thin so the last thing I need is more bulk.

I believe Katie lives in NYC. I think the coat is cute, but that price for it is ludicrous.
