Katie rarely looks tidy. I wouldn't pin this on Christian as he is a fanatic about presentation. She got it home, threw it on the sofa, and just threw it on. I hope she bought it and wasn't a freebie as other designers might avoid her.

I'm thinking that the slightly 'checked' pattern could be deceiving in a photo.  

Probably looks somewhat fabulous in person.

Katie seems to be a fairly private person.  Her daughter is a beautiful young lady.  Time has passed by very quickly, as I recall Katie often carrying youngster Suri in her arms.

That suit looks as if it was tailored for someone else.  I don't care for the pattern either.

I'm not big on most patterns in fashion but I happen to like this one a lot. However, my first thought was the suit is ill fitting.
