Katie Couric's MOB Dress

Her daughter Ellie got married over the 4th of July weekend. The pictures are from Instagram, that's all I could find. Katie said she didn't take that many pictures in order to take in every minute.

Yes it's the usual strapless dress, but I think Ellie looks elegant and perfectly polished. I love her veil.

They had special music to honor Jay Monahan, Ellie's Dad. He died of colon cancer when he was only 42.

The wedding was in Port Jervis NY. Looks like a beautiful spot.

The MOB dress is very Katie Couric. The style and fit is perfect for her (still) youthful figure.

The bride is lovely. I'm not a fan of strapless but this one is a good fit, with no spillage anywhere. Simply stunning.

I'm still getting used to these almost navy suits everyone seems to be wearing. The biggest thing to my eyes is the fit of the suits. They look 2 sizes too small. The British tan shoes I'm getting used too. I notice the groom is not wearing socks.

well, my goodness. perfect in every single way. love MOB dress, love bride's dress (i can also remember when she was born!), love the setting, love the arbor flowers and the brides flowers, ... even love the groom's shoes/no socks!
