Here are some photos of KH through the years. She was most famous for wearing pants and pantsuits in a time when women mostly wore dresses.

Interesting story: While working at RKO in the 1930s, Hepburn would wear blue jeans to the studio, but they had been confiscated from her dressing room while she was on set filming. They hoped to persuade Hepburn to wear a skirt, but she would instead return to the set in her knickers and refuse to cover her bottom half until her jeans were returned. They were.

The photo of her in the long dress is lovely. I'm assuming she felt more comfortable in jeans and pants though.

One of my all time favorite Hollywood Stars! I think she was a fiercely independent woman and was true to herself. She wore clothes beautifully and always looked elegant. Even in her later years she was stunning.

@ECBG   I totally agree - I wish I lived in this era. The women were stunning, the fashions were fabulous.
