I like Kate and she always looks good but this is not one of her best looks.

I think it would be a VERY boring world if everyone wore their "best look" all the time!  Mix it up, have some fun, change it up and try something different!

Have fun and relax!  It's just what you are wearing today, doesn't make you or break you very often and 99 percent of those who see you won't think about it or remember it the next day.  If they do, well, that's them not you!

I think it's a miss.  She looks like she had a long night!

May be better with white shoes or black handbag so they match.  Perhaps add a belt or try shoes/bag in a different color.

The fabric has been cut to create semicircles at the waist and vertically.  I think that's why it seems off to me.  Seems like D & G would have made an effort to match up the pattern on the seams.

The Duchess is always chic and has the stature and figure that are enviable.  (IMO) This dress is a miss.  I love polka dots and black and white but (IMO) the polka dots are too large.  There is also something mismatched with the bodice and waist. Also a sleeveless version would be less distracting.
