I'm shocked- Passed away at 85.  I never would have guessed he was 85- Always thought he was in his mid 70's. 

Great fashion mind.  RIP.

Locally, WTOP lists it as "around 85 years old."

I think I'm going to adopt that format.

"Around 29 years old."

I wouldn't guessed 85 either, he looked more like a man in his 90's. Healthy people in their 80's today are generally more robust  and strong looking.  He was also not nice person, he said some nasty,  awful hurtful things about large women in the past.

He was an icon in the fashion world. Didn't seem to be the nicest person. I remember when he said that Heidi Klum was too fat for runway modeling.

@VaBelle35   You remind me of a friend who celebrates the anniversary of her 29th birthday.  I think she's up to the 40th anniverary of it.

@Greeneyedlady21  He thought everyone needed to starve themselves like he did. He even wrote a diet book. I think because he was always hungry he got ornery..
