I experienced the lack of the "old" brands at Macy's the last time I was there before Christmas. I thought it was because others had cleared the racks for Christmas shopping. I didn't go to Macy's enough because of the general chaos and disorder at my local store. But I notice everywhere, every store, has changed its offerings.
Karen Scott was the low price-point brand for Macys. I like Kim Rogers at Belk, that is similar but better quality I think than Karen Scott. i order tees when they are buy one get two free and they still look new after two seasons. The Kim Rogers line is pretty extensive so I can usually find someting for casual wear.
I was disappointed when they continued the charter club line. I always thought the quality was really great for the price point. I'm not enjoying Macy's like I used to. The Quality of their fabrics is declining.
I seldom shop Macys anymore, our stores are so junky in the Seattle area. Sad!
Even though I have a Macy's a 10 minute walk from home, I shop from the website. Free shipping at $25, always if you have their card. Frequent sales. Love Macy's!
Sorry to hear about these lines being discontinued. I own pieces from KS, CC, and Alfani. Hopefully, similar pieces will pop up in the other lines at my Macy's. I've already lost a few other of my favorites fashion stores and brands since COVID. I hate to continue to see my choices dwindling.
I was at Macy's yesterday and saw the small selection of Karen Scott tees. They are a favorite. Thanks for the info @cotton4me. Macy's tees are the best and reasonably priced. I saw the Style & Co. tees. They look good too
